| Job Jar has created this Privacy Policy in order to provide our users with a clear understanding of how we operate the web site/Facebook application (app) and handle your personal information as well to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for our website, including the types of personal information we gather when you use our services, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it. When you visit and navigate our site, we will not collect any personal information about you unless you provide us that information voluntarily. Job Jar is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of websites that link to or from Job Jar. Registration and Order Forms. In order to use some of our services, users must become a registered user by first completing the New User registration form or logging in with a Facebook user name and password and accepting the app. This registration form requires users to supply their contact information (i.e. name and address) and financial information (i.e. credit card number). We use this customer contact information to send information to our registered users about the services for which they have subscribed. We use the financial information collected to verify the user's identity and to bill the user for products and services. Cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Job Jar uses cookies in the Member Services areas of our site to save users' passwords so that they don't have to re-enter it each time they visit the Member Services area of the site. Cookies on our site are in no way linked to any personally identifiable information. While browsing through our site, you may get cookies from our advertisers or sponsors. We do not control these cookies or the cookies that you may get from sites linked to ours when you visit them. Log Files. We use your IP (Internet Provider) address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website.
